Research
Archaeological research provides scientific data to identify and protect important Aboriginal cultural sites, artifacts, and landscapes. Through collaboration, Aboriginal communities can ensure their heritage is respected and preserved. Collaboration allows for a respectful exchange of knowledge between Aboriginal and scientific perspectives, enriching both and leading to more comprehensive understandings of history.
The research services we offer are use-wear and residue analysis of stone artefacts, detailed interpretation of stone artefact collections, dating methods (OSL and radiocarbon), and sediment analysis (geoarchaeology). Our team of highly experienced researchers work closely with communities to produce mutually beneficial projects. We are also proficient grant writers, conducting historic and archival research, editing and publishing to an academic and/or public audience.
