Archaeological Research
Archaeological research provides scientific data to help identify and protect important Aboriginal cultural sites, artefacts, and landscapes. When research is done in genuine collaboration, Aboriginal communities can ensure cultural heritage is respected and preserved, while scientific methods add another line of evidence to strengthen interpretation. This exchange of knowledge enriches both Aboriginal and scientific perspectives and supports more complete understandings of history.
